Taieri Mouth, Dunedin

The first HEX-LOC® South Island project was delivered along the coastline south of Dunedin. Developed to address ongoing coastal erosion that had compromised a critical section of roadway, the solution reinstated a safe two-way road and shoulder for the community. It provides a long-term, low-maintenance outcome while enabling the establishment of vegetation in the upper section, enhancing both structural resilience and environmental integration.
