Glencoe Gorge Underslip

Cyclone Gabrielle worsened long-standing slope instability in Glencoe Gorge, threatening SH50 and nearby private land.

With challenging terrain, groundwater seepage, and stream erosion, traditional solutions were unsuitable. Transport Rebuild East Coast (TREC) Alliance and their Contractors and partners installed a modular HEX-LOC^® wall to stabilise the slope, protect infrastructure, and meet seismic and hydrological requirements.
